Going fourty years way back dating to April 21, 1969 is this letter sent from Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol about having the Pop artist design the cover art for the band’s Sticky Fingers album. Apart from giving him a carte blanche, Jagger also left it up to Warhol to choose his fee.

DJ AMAdam Goldstein, 36, was found dead. He really did die in his apartment on Lafayette Street in Manhattan on Friday afternoon (August, 28 2009).

Adam Yauch aka MCA made a video announcement yesterday that he unfortunately has thyroid cancer and will require surgery next week. The good news is that it is isolated and hopefully 100 percent treatable. The bad news… they’re canceling their much anticipated summer tour which is a bummer because I had tickets to their LA performance. Get well soon Adam.

Yesterday was surely a day the world will remember forever. June 25th will forever be etched in our minds as the day the King of Pop, Michael Jackson has passed. The world sits today with heavy hearts as we realize our beloved pop icon has gone so suddenly.

He was 50 years old and was rushed to the hospital yesterday after suffering a heart attack at his LA home. He was a legend, famous almost all his life. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones, especially his children.
